I love maths, It encourages me to do more things. Its all over the place. at work, in your household, you're even using maths as you read this. It is used in daily life. In my maths group I am learning to convert percentages to decimals and decimals to fractions and fractions to percentages. So we were given a task where we had $2500 and we could look through a magazine and buy whatever we wanted, but there was a sticker on the front saying a percentage that was taken off all the items but we had to figure out the amount taken off with the percentage.
