At mt cook.

For the start of the oamaru heritage weekend cycle i have been dropped of with family and friends at Mt cook and tomorrow  i am cycling 75 km to twizel. 
Because of heritage weekend we have to dress up in Victorian clothing, i wear trousers with bracers and a light shirt.

Many tourists have stopped and taken pictures and videos of us because of our clothing. 

I am extremely astonished about the size of Mt cook. It's four times the size of pirongia

    Isn't it such stunning scenery around there! The lake is so blue and you are right Mt Cook is massive. Have you gone for a walk up to the glacier and the ice bergs floating in the lake? Four times the size of Mt Pirongia - that is impressive!! I hope you are going to post a photo of yourself in Victorian clothing. Graham and Finn were moaning a little about having to bike 16km tonight so 75 km in one day is awesome.

    wow lookis like you're having a great time. hope you really enjoy Mt Cook and Twizel I really enjoied it when we went there. Hope to see some more pics soon.
